Terms of Service

1. What XPilot is

XPilot ("the Service") is an automated content generation and scheduling tool for X (Twitter). It is operated by @alexcloudstar ("we", "us"). By using XPilot, you agree to these terms.

2. Account and access

• You must connect a valid X account via OAuth to use XPilot.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
• One XPilot account per X account. Multi-account support is not available at this time.

3. Free trial

All plans include a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, your posts will be paused until you select a paid plan. You can resume at any time.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices are as listed on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the end of that billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change applies to them.

5. Content and responsibility

• XPilot generates content based on your onboarding input and preferences. You are ultimately responsible for all content posted to your X account.
• You can review, edit, or regenerate any content through the chat interface before or after posting.
• You agree not to use XPilot to generate content that violates X's Terms of Service, including spam, harassment, hate speech, or misleading content.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that are used to generate harmful or abusive content.

6. X API usage

XPilot accesses your X account through the official X API v2. We request only the permissions necessary to operate the service: read tweets (analytics), write tweets (posting), and manage scheduling. You can revoke access at any time through your X account settings.

7. AI-generated content

Content is generated using AI models (Claude by Anthropic). While we optimize for quality and accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or produce unexpected results. We recommend reviewing scheduled content, especially during the first weeks of use.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep XPilot available at all times but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service depends on third-party APIs (X, Anthropic, Stripe) that may experience downtime outside our control. We are not liable for missed posts or scheduling delays caused by third-party outages.

9. Intellectual property

• You own all content generated by XPilot for your account. We claim no ownership over your posts.
• The XPilot name, logo, and product are the property of @alexcloudstar.
• You may not resell, redistribute, or white-label the XPilot service.

10. Limitation of liability

XPilot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any loss of followers, engagement, revenue, or reputation resulting from the use of XPilot. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will stop all scheduled posts and remove your data within 30 days.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of XPilot after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes, we will notify you via email.
